RAFTING AND KAYAKING IN NEPAL

Nepal Temple

Temple in Nepal

We take you to Nepal on the Sun Kosi (Sunkoshi) River, one of the best raft trips in the world. Big rapids, warm water, beautiful scenery and great camping make this a classic multi-day river trip.

Sun Kosi means 'River of Gold'. The river rises near Tibet and flows eastwards through the great valley between the Mahabharat Lekh mountains and the Himalaya. It forms the watershed for most of eastern Nepal. For the majority of the trip there are no roads or towns. This is unspoiled, rural Nepal at its best. All along the river are beautiful large white sandy beaches for camping, and the lower section of the river is heavily forested with troops of monkeys and an abundance of birdlife.

This trip can be customized to the desires and skill level of the group. Trip participants should be in good physical condition and should have some paddling experience. Spaces are limited (Rafters: 6 min, 18 max). Our preference is that everyone is from the same group, so call your friends, a special rate is available for a group of 12 or more.
