4 CORNERS WHITEWATER

The Rockwood Box Canyon is an extreme trip beginning with a warm-up from Cascade Station. This is surely the most intense whitewater commercially rafted in Colorado and perhaps the entire United States. Not only that, we descend deep into the canyon and far away from the train tracks. This means at the end of the trip we have to hike out of the canyon WITH RAFTS for over a mile and gain almost 1000 vertical feet. We cannot continue downstream due to impassable waterfalls and rock jams.
